Bessys Tea Room is a welcoming café located within Holly Oak Dementia Care Home at the Hollies Care Centre in Dursley, Gloucestershire. Open to both residents and the general public, the tea room was designed to create a warm, inclusive community space where families, locals and residents can connect and enjoy quality refreshments in a comfortable environment.

The Challenge
Bessys Tea Room was an ambitious project aimed at transforming the care home into a more community-centred destination. The primary challenge was to develop a brand and identity that appealed not only to residents and families, but also to the wider public, encouraging locals to view the tea room as a genuine café and social hub rather than a service limited to the care home.
The goal was to establish a friendly, approachable and memorable brand that would attract footfall and foster community engagement.
